Rainier Beach Back2School Bash

For 21 years, we've been putting on this event for the benefit of our youth, neighborhood and families. With he support of some amazing volunteers, local businesses, and community organizations. The Back2School Bash has historically been a day of celebration and gathering for neighborhood families, full of music, laughter, and giving.

This year’s Back2School Bash will take place on August 24th from 12-4pm at the Be'er Sheva Park. The purpose of this event is the same as it was at the first Bash back in 2003: to affirm the greatness of each and every child, and to address the socioeconomic barriers they face when it comes to learning. As always, we will be providing students and families with backpacks, school supplies, food, and information about the important community resources that are available to them.
