
Ryan Croone
My Story
"Ryan Croone II is a community-rooted leader, writer, and artist from Seattle with a deep passion for restorative justice and youth empowerment. Currently studying at the University of Washington, Ryan made the Dean’s List in Winter Quarter 2025 and brings a strong academic foundation to their community work. From 2021 to 2024, he served as a youth leader in the Restorative Justice Youth Consortium, amplifying young voices and promoting healing centered engagement. Ryan is also a published author and creative force behind RBAC’s Restorative Circle Book series. They contributed as an author to the first edition in 2022 and took the lead as both author and designer of the second edition in 2024, helping shape tools that center community care, accountability, and dialogue. In recognition of their dedication, they received RBAC’s Unsung Hero Award. Outside of advocacy and scholarship, Ryan is an interdisciplinary artist whose work is informed by Black cultural traditions, storytelling, and lived experience. Whether through visual arts, performance, or writing, he approaches every project with intention and a commitment to uplift and connect with others. Ryan’s work reflects a powerful blend of creativity, leadership, and heart, a combination all grounded in love for his city and community."
