The Joe Brazil Legacy Summer Music Festival brings together talented local musicians, families, neighbors, artists, and music lovers for a free community event honoring the spirit and legacy of legendary saxophonist, educator, and community advocate Joe Brazil. Guests will enjoy live performances spanning jazz, soul, funk, blues, gospel, and rhythm & blues in a welcoming outdoor atmosphere designed to celebrate culture, creativity, and togetherness. This family-friendly festival features: Live music performances by local and regional artists Free community-centered entertainment Food vendors and refreshments Community resource tables and local businesses Outdoor recreation and cultural engagement Opportunities to connect across generations through music and the arts The Joe Brazil Legacy continues its mission of honoring, protecting, and promoting the living legacy of Joe Brazil through accessible arts programming that uplifts community, celebrates Black cultural heritage, and creates joyful public gathering spaces throughout Seattle and King County.
